We started KonvertStack to fix a broken promise.
Companies were told AI would transform them. Then they hired consultants who delivered strategy decks, or vendors who delivered demos — and almost nobody delivered a working system that made money. We built the firm we wished those companies had called.
Our story
KonvertStack is a boutique consultancy of senior engineers, applied scientists, and operators who had spent years shipping AI inside product companies — and kept watching the same failure repeat from the outside.
The pattern was always the same: a promising prototype, a standing ovation in the boardroom, and then months of silence as it failed to survive contact with real users, real data, and real edge cases. The gap between “it demos” and “it works” is where budgets go to die — and it's precisely the gap most firms are structured to avoid.
So we built for the gap. We take one sharp problem, put senior people on it, and don't call it done until it's in production, instrumented, and owned by your team. No armies of juniors. No open-ended retainers. No black boxes you can't maintain when we leave. Just systems that work, and a team that knows how they work.
